PLANTS AND ANIMALS ANNOUNCE CANADIAN TOUR DATES AROUND RELEASE OF ‘LA LA
LAND’

Plants and Animals are set to bring their new album, La La Land, to life
when they hit the road for a Canadian tour starting April 21 in Quebec
City. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m.
(dates listed below). The band will also be showcasing the new material
during a series of performances in March at both CMW in Toronto and at
SXSW in Austin, Texas. The much anticipated La La Land hits stores on
April 20.

Announced in January, La La Land is the band’s second full-length
offering following their breakthrough debut in 2008, Parc Avenue. Since
that album was released the band has played over 150 shows throughout
the Western world, including appearances at the Pitchfork Festival in
Chicago, Primavera in Barcelona, Central Park Summer Stage with the
National, and even one night in Columbus opening for Gnarls Barkley,
after Danger Mouse discovered Parc Avenue and invited them out.
