Aerosmith Axe Show After Steven Tyler Falls Ill
Rockers Aerosmith have axed their show on Tuesday after frontman Steven Tyler was ordered to rest his voice by doctors.
The Walk This Way hitmakers were set to headline the Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater in Bristow, Virginia, but they’ve had to postpone the concert at the last minute after Tyler fell ill.
A post on the band’s Facebook.com page reads, “Steven Tyler is under doctor’s orders to refrain from performing to provide vocal rest. The concert will now take place on August 12th.
“Aerosmith regrets any inconvenience and looks forward to returning to Jiffy Lube Live. Tickets purchased for the July 3rd show will be honored on the August 12th date.”
