Jake Owen Weds A Month After Engagement
Country music star Jake Owen has wed his girlfriend Lacey Buchanan, just a month after popping the question.
The couple became engaged at Easter after Owen proposed onstage during a gig in his native Vero Beach, Florida, and on Monday, he announced they had become man and wife.
Owen and Buchanan exchanged vows in a dawn ceremony on the sand at Vero Beach, and the singer later took to his Twitter.com blog to post a photo of the couple in its wedding attire, with the
message, “A best friend for life. I now have a wifey 
my face hurts from smiling. What a wonderful way to start the rest of my life.”
The wedding took place after an eventful weekend for the singer – he was handcuffed by police in Florida on Saturday after causing concern with his behavior during a rowdy night out.
