Public Donna Summer Memorial Planned For Next Week
Fans of Donna Summer have been invited to pay their respects to the late disco diva at a public memorial in Nashville, Tennessee next week.
The Bad Girls legend died early on Thursday following a secret, 10-month battle with lung cancer.
She will be laid to rest in a private funeral service in Nashville on Monday, but Summer’s relatives have now scheduled a public ceremony for next Wednesday to give devotees one last chance to bid farewell to the icon, according to TMZ.com.
Summer and her husband, Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano, moved their family to Nashville in 1994.
